It has been four years plus since my last entry. Life gets busy.  At the very tip of this ladder is my Grandson Christian doing a firehouse thing. He lives in California so he is always very busy. My other Grandson just got his wings as a pilot , never a quiet moment. I am at the golden age of silence ?  I worry just as I did with my own children, it does not change.  Summer is very hot as usual here in Summerlin, NV. Same routine, quilting, knitting, crochet, cross stitch is my new venture. Still gardening and my oh so satisfying Music.  Flute, violin, cello, harp and piano.  Do not spend as much time with the music as the cross stitch is like eating potato chips, which I no longer eat potatoes of any form, about one year now.  Also gluten free for two years by choice, simplify the food menu.   While my hands work my Audible is bringing me stories, favorites are WWII, just a History buff. I put my post on face book about my Summer vacation, Each Summer I watch the Tour De France Cycling, love 21 days of beautiful scenery, great Sportsmen, and Paris.  Bye for now, Blessings,  Brook

It has been a long time, since I have posted to anyone. Like others , I have endured sadness, loss, and goodness.  Looking forward to making items for my Etsy shop. It will have patterns and kits from my adventures in a brick and mortar shop. The Inventory must go, so I can bring in new designs.   Still loving living in Summerlin, NV. I am now living in Summerlin, Nevada, and loving it.  My blogs and Etsy shops have been put on the back burner for sooooooo long.  I am busy decorating the house and my favorite the gardens. I spend time making items for a lovely quilt shop called The Christmas Goose in Las Vegas, if in the area please visit .  I plan on making items for my Etsy shops and will fill them for the Fall season.  Never enough time in the day, seems many Bloggers have left and are on Instagram.  I also am on Instagram, but since I am not very Tech smart ,no go to on my side bar, still old school.  Will write again soon, Blessings,  Brook.

Busy Autumn

Busy Autumn, I have been putting Patterns and Kits in my Etsy Shop.  Many are on SALE, I need to make room for new Patterns.  I miss the brick and mortar shop I was in for five years.  It is difficult for me to sell on line, as I am not that sharp with the computer and all the different apps. I have spent the last two days placing Kits and Patterns in my Etsy shop. Autumn Season

This weekend placing many Patterns and Kits in my Etsy shop.  Autumn is soon here, My favorite time of year, not to cold  or not to hot.  I like when there is a nip in the early morning air.  I also am selling furniture plus more, if interested contact me.  I am in the Lancaster, CA town. I have wonderful oak cabinets that can hold a large amount of quilt fabric, an Oak two drawer file cabinet, quilt books etc...  Other furniture is dark antique Buffet and table set, two desk, one is a tall Secretary.  Antique light chandelier , bookcase. A shabby decorative piece- a window  shutter box, difficult to describe a must see.  I did put some pics on Instagram, do not know how to get them to computer. Gone Fishing

" Gone Fishing" is a fun Summer Pattern.  I am putting more Patterns and Kits in my Etsy Shop.   I do have Furniture for sale.  1920 's Buffet, and matching Dinning Set, Two desks from the 30/40 's   Old Chandelier, many small pieces, bookcase and In Oak,  two wonderful cabinets, which I used for fabric and wool stash, also oak file cabinet.  Quilt books, patterns, fabric etc.... Hot Summer Here

Pattern in my Etsy shop, working to add more this week.  We are to have triple digit heat for the next ten days,  so being inside will be good.  These past weeks I have spent many hours in the garden, praying the flowers can take this super heat.  It is hard on the new plants, ok. for those flowers that are established.  May you have a wonderful Summer week.  Blessings,  Brook
